Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules of conduct for everyone who uses Hallufox (the "Services"). It is part of our Terms of Service and works together with our Prohibited Content Policy and Underage Policy.

In short: Use Hallufox lawfully and respectfully. Don't break the platform, don't abuse other people, and don't create content that is illegal or harmful. Breaking these rules can cost you your account.

1. Our community standards

Hallufox is built for adults who want creative, fictional AI interactions. We want a community that is safe, respectful, and lawful. You agree to interact with the Services, and with any community features, in good faith and in line with both the letter and the spirit of our policies.

2. Things you must not do

When using the Services, you must not:

  • break the law or use the Services for any illegal purpose;
  • create or request prohibited content as defined in our Prohibited Content Policy — in particular, anything involving minors (see our Underage Policy) or non-consensual intimate content;
  • target real people by generating sexual, intimate, defamatory, or harassing depictions of identifiable individuals without their consent;
  • harass, threaten, bully, or incite violence or hatred against any person or group;
  • promote self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous activities;
  • impersonate Hallufox, our staff, or any other person or entity;
  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • introduce malware or attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Services;
  • circumvent safety, age, or moderation measures, including by using prompts designed to evade filters;
  • use the Services commercially or resell access without our written permission; or
  • use bots or automated means to access the Services in a way that violates these rules.

3. Your responsibility for content

You are responsible for everything you input and for ensuring your use complies with the law and our policies. Conversations with AI Characters are fictional, but the rules above still apply to what you create, request, store, or share.

4. Enforcement

We use a combination of automated tools and human review to enforce this policy. Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may:

  • issue a warning;
  • remove or restrict content;
  • limit, suspend, or permanently terminate your account; and/or
  • report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

We may act with or without prior notice, especially for serious violations such as anything involving minors or imminent harm.

5. Reporting violations

If you see a violation of this policy, report it through our in-product tools or email contact@hallufox.com. Reports involving minors or imminent harm are treated as our highest priority. See also our Complaint Policy and Content Removal Policy.
